Coffee with Fr. Ernie
Starting on February 18, please join Fr. Ernie for his new “drop-in” office hours at Fifth Street Coffee House on Monterey Street from 1:30 - 3:30pm.
This is completely informal - he will be at a table with a cup of coffee, reading or working on his computer. Anyone is welcome to just come in and sit with him to discuss what’s on their mind. Come on down for any reason - or - for no reason at all. Maybe you just want to shoot the breeze - that’s great!
Fr. Ernie hopes everyone will take advantage of this chance to talk whenever they want. It’s all completely informal. Please stop by and chat.
(If you want to talk with Fr. Ernie with more privacy, please text or call him to make an appointment in the church office.)

Faith of Our Neighbors
St. Stephen’s is hosting this event which is sponsored by the ICASC (Interfaith Clergy Alliance of South County), the same group that sponsors the annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Services that are such a success each year. Faith of our Neighbors is a series of presentations where each faith in the Interfaith Alliance share the important elements of their tradition. So far, there have been presentations on Islam and Judaism. February will be the presentation on Christianity as understood by the churches centered around the Eucharist, including us, the Roman Catholics, and the Lutherans. These three churches will be presenting. Please lend your support to welcome our Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, and Evangelical Christian neighbors.
