Update on our Sound System!

Great news! We’ve been having some major problems with our sound system. Actually, that’s putting it mildly, because none of the microphones have worked for more than two weeks. It’s been very hard for anyone to hear the readings, and I’ve had to shout my sermon. To make matters worse, we could not seem to locate anyone capable of fixing the problem.

That changed last Wednesday when God blessed us with just the person we needed. He came out to the church and spent two hours sorting through the tangle of cables in the back and exploring and testing each of the several dozen knobs that control the volume and who knows what else. By the end, all the speakers were working. 

He then offered to redo the whole system, improving it while also simplifying the cables and labeling all the identical knobs. I could have wept for joy. After all, our job each Sunday is to proclaim the word. Now at last people will be able to hear it again. God be praised!
