The mission of the Resource Center is to provide immediate basic aid to those in need in such a way that they become more independent as they receive the assistance that they require.
NOTE: Because of Covid-19 the Resource Center is operating under certain restrictions which limit our ability to provide some services. Though we are still able to offer mail services and pantry food during this time.
The scope of the aid that the Resource Center can provide includes
- Food pantry
- Bus tokens
- School supplies
- Jackets, jeans, shoes and socks
- And most importantly, referral information to agencies that can provide specific assistance to help guide our clients back to independence.
The Resource Center provides a mail address for those not in a permanent home location.
Each year the Resource Center serves hundreds of clients, directly addressing their needs for assistance.
Hours of operation are:
9:30 am to 11:30 am
The Resource Center is thankful to everyone who has made donations. We are always in need of underwear, socks, shoes, and jackets---all of which may be new or second hand.
